I play one fantasy MMO and one sci-fi MMO. I am twice as nerdy as the rest of you! Also, I could not survive without my Android.

Instead of cleaning my kitchen this evening I decided to practice shading. My next piece, Canthan Couture, is featured below. What are your thoughts? I agree the shading makes the piece look less flat. I really do need to tidy up my kitchen now. I'm expecting a guest in one hour!

That looks really nice and smooth. The only thing I could point out is the back of her head, it pops out a big too much.

Omai, those curves look smooth! She looks like she just came from the catwalk, beautiful fasion design Really pretty. And I see nothing wrong with the back of her head. Thank you!

Smooth curves are why I had to buy the Intuos tablet. With a mouse it is impossible, and with smaller tablets like the Bamboo it doesn't feel as natural to me.

@Tommy's: I'm glad you like it, Tommy's!

@Hydralisk: Actually I did think to myself perhaps it was a bit large, but then I realized all the hair required to make a giant heart-shaped loop in the back may make it stick out a bit extra.

Nice! I rather like the simplicity of your work, it has a certain elegance to it. The flowing lines in this one are great!

sweet, I have never seen Tommys monk looking so sophisticated. I probably would have made the lipstick a tad less orange, but the whole effect is lovely.

Hmm now that you mention it, the lipstick does look a bit orange. I initially used a bright red but that looked silly against the other colors so I tried to blend it into the skin a bit. I'll pay more attention to the lips on the next one.

I love your clean , smooth style. I find that very difficult to pull off. In the last drawing, only critique I would make is that her right shoulder (left to us) looks a little too wide. And yeah the lipstick just looks too bright ^_^

Great work nonetheless. keep it up!

I updated the color of the lips & adjusted the odd shoulder. Thanks for mentioning that, Ravenhawk!

Did you take away the old one Bunny? It's useful to leave the changes.

I thought it would be fun to do something with more action, and Araiia's dervish seemed to be a good subject for that. I used the pose from the screenshot as a base.

Her hair should probably be doing something fun, but as it's a shorter hair style I'm not sure of the best way to show that. Suggestions?
